These guys came to us and wanted to do a little bit of everything!

Live streaming of the FM & AM feeds to the site with a player that is instantly on with no plugins to install and no buffering, oh and of course also streaming to a mobile app!

Completely automatic updating of local news using a proprietary scripted automatic searching scraping and rewriting of various news sources and feeds.

And of course a tight automatic integration with Facebook and Twitter so that all that automatic news is automatically trickled further down and reposted to the social networks and all of our friends under the WSWV name!

Major Update Today

Yea it’s been a couple of weeks, but we’ve come quite a long way and with this major update there’s alot that’s changed! Most noticeably is the new banner logo in the header, the Featured Members section, and the AJAX coded dynamic tabs down below.

But what you won’t see is all the Search Engine Optimization that’s been done behind the scenes: compliant sitemap.xml, sitemap.xml.gz, and robots.txt mods, appropriate mod-rewrite, with steps taken to prevent duplicate content penalties, and the beginnings of an Apache 404 error SEO trap, and… But then again, we can’t be giving away all of our little SEO secrets like these, now can we?

Site Launch Tonight

So the county wanted an entire full featured Search Engine to inform and connect potential consumers to local businesses…
They said, kind of like a google or yahoo, but for local products and services,
We said sure, no problem!

Three days later we had the code hammered out and presented the client with a full mockup,
By the end of the week the site was up and fully functional!

Chamber of Commerce

The Lee County Chamber of Commerce wanted to overhaul their old site,
and be able to easily update it themselves without needing some special software or learning a second language!

We said all of our sites already come with that built in,
So we sat down and showed them how making changes with our online editor was as easy as typing an email,
And they had it all figured out and were updating their own site in about ten minutes!
